Salads- a very good alternative to ordering the pizza

Why do we eat junk food? Well, we all have our reasons to eat junk food. However, they have been innumerable instances where families have ordered junk food when everybody in the family was tired and nobody was in the mood to cook anything after spending the entire day searching for good data quality services. Just one individual has to suggest the option of ordering a pizza and everybody will immediately speak in favor of this option without considering healthier alternatives. How to ensure you do not consume junk food for this reason?

Doctor Bob’s words on disorganisation

Throughout my life I’ve been led to think that being disorganised is an awful character trait. The kind of unforgivable thing which excludes you from normal society. What rubbish that is! Upon visiting the doctor recently I realised just what a decent and humane trait it is! Okay, so it’s a serious pain in the bum when you can’t find your car keys – for the hundredth time that week… – but otherwise it can be good, as I will now demonstrate.

While at the doctor’s yesterday, very early in the morning, for me at least, I found myself reading about Nissan car leasing in one of the mega-old but fascinating magazines left out for patients to read while waiting. I was engrossed in this when my name was called, and ten seconds later I was seated in doctor Bob’s highly disorganised office.

Now, this was the first time I had seen the mess in the flesh: I had heard about it, yes, but I had never actually seen it until now. As doctor Bob asked me why I was there and I told him, he demonstrated his incredible control over his messy space. Very quickly, within a minute or so, he had located my file and was leafing through it.

When I left I asked doctor Bob about his philosophy on this messy way of life. Doctor Bob smiled and said, “you know what? It takes about fifty years to get used to it, but once you do you develop a system.” That was all I needed to hear, and those words were enough that they gave me the will to continue and have faith in my being messy.

The Best Hedge Plants For Privacy

The Best Hedge Plants For Privacy

One day as I was struggling with the plastic packaging my meat came in, I noticed that my nosey neighbor was peering into my yard. Now I love my privacy and decided to get some hedging. I went down to my local florist and she made some suggestions to me. So for anyone of you who are looking for some hedge plants here are some ideas.

The best way to get your most wanted privacy is by using privacy hedges. Use them in plenty and they will stop all those peeping Toms. These hedge plants have thorny branches so you can be quite sure of your privacy.

Using such hedge plants will give a clean look to your garden and is a nice change instead of boring fences. What more is that such hedge plants are readily available so you don’t have to wait for them to grow. Choose a hedge which is evergreen, tall and grows quickly. These tall plants will not only give you privacy but also cut down the external noise level. Some of the best evergreen plants that you can use as privacy hedges are Blue Spruce, Thuja Green Giant, Yew, Leyland Cypress, Blue Sapphire Cypress, Spartan Juniper etc.

Shrubs like Willow Hybrid, Red Twig Dogwood, American Cranberry, Chinese Privet, are available quite cheap, and are ideal for use as privacy hedges. You can also opt for vines and as they flower, they will make your garden beautiful. Bougainvillea, Honeysuckle Vine, Wisteria Creeper Vine can all be used as privacy hedges.

Nowadays, tall grasses are also used for this purpose. Zebra grass and Silver Feather Maiden Hair grass are used extensively as well.

The Age Thing

I don’t get the women-and-age thing. What’s the big deal? Here’s an experiment for you to do and you’ll see just what I mean.

1) Click on pretty much any woman’s Facebook profile. If it’s someone you know all the better, as you’ll be able to see their personal details such as age, date of birth, relationship status etc.

2) Oh…Only you won’t be able to see their date of birth, and in most cases age either, because in most cases it’s not up there. This is deliberate, of course. Most women, for reasons I couldn’t speculate at, think that putting their age up is a crime.

I asked my friend Lucy from the online recruitment software branch to help me out. What’s the problem with age? I said.

She said, are you being thick?

I said, I don’t know, am I?

Yes, she said, you are, very much so.

Lucy then went on to explain that this is the way it’s always been. I said I knew that, of course, it was just that I didn’t understand a few things…one of them being how women don’t want their age known, but are happy to put pictures up on Facebook that really belong in a private collection. She just shrugged at this, then she told me that she certainly doesn’t have any private pics up, and we left it at that (I could sense her getting in one of her signature moods).

Why, then, do men not have the same privilege as women in this respect? When a man says he doesn’t want to reveal his age he is laughed at, but for women apparently it’s normal…

I say forget this silly taboo. Let’s embrace our age, and anyway, you can always tell how old a woman is by looking at her hands.

Helping my son manage his finances

Unfortunately my son has never truly understood the meaning of saving or budgeting your money. Ever since he was a little boy he has been frivolous with any money he can get his hands on, buying all sorts of things he didn’t even need, such as blenders, cowboy hats, and flower pots. I have tried in vain to get him to save with numerous methods and none have ever worked.

I was looking online for ideas on how to help children manage their money in a responsible way, when I came across prepaid credit cards. These cards could be used in the same way as a normal bank card but they don’t have the ability to let the user overspend as there is no credit facility or overdraft allowance.

Hiking – A great outdoor experience with lots of thrill, adventure and excitement

Camping and hiking go together hand in hand. In fact hiking can be fun as you get the required exercise when you go out of doors and view the beautiful scenery, and unlike caravanning you do not have to worry about fuel supply contract for your caravan or other trailer nitty-gritty. However, before going out for hiking, you should prepare yourself for any event so that you may remain safe as, hiking can be dangerous for the foolhardy who step out without any preparation. Planning beforehand is necessary as it will help you face any situation.

Smart Phones With Mini Sized In Built Memory… Whatever For?

Why do I get the feeling that the electronics industry is one of the most inefficient one in the world? There was a time when each and every development that took place in the electronic world was a complete surprise for the users. When the Nintendo gaming console was introduced, people were happy because it gave them a wonderful opportunity to enjoy better quality games. However, the lack of space was a problem and this was later taken care of by the R4i card.

My Sordid Truth

Growing up I was a major can’t-live-without-it-meat junkie. Very little has changed, actually, it’s just that now I am better at lying about it and have devised a number of techniques for evading questions about my meat-loving-obsessions. The truth is, though, that I simply must have a steak if a steak is on the menu. I love it, will always love it, and never want things to be any other way.

What I love about meat is…well, everything about it: the fat, the gristle, the bits that are nice and juicy, and especially the crackling on them most beloved pork chops! I love the way that meat smells when it’s raw and bloody. I love the first bite and the last one when you think you’re about to pass out you have eaten so much meat…I love it all. I think by now I have demonstrated that, no?

For these reasons, life is hard when I come across these so-called vegetarians who think that eating meat is somehow wrong. I just don’t know what to make of them and their opinions: are they really actually for real? Or is this all just one big sick joke that every single person in the world – except me, of course – is in on?

this, my friend, is where I start talking about how I tried some vegetable-based food…

PLAN of attack?

PLAN of attack?

I don’t know what scares me more these days, mobile phones, or the fact that I can’t seem to live without my mobile phone.

I read an article on the BBC website where the US are going to be launching an emergency mobile alert system in New York and Washington DC by the end of the year. Apparently it will enable the authorities to locate you in the event of imminent danger. The idea is to prevent as many people as possible from dying in the event of a terrorist attack. That’s what the authorities say anyway. Personally I’m not so sure about that. I mean, has no one thought what this will mean for their privacy? I don’t want people knowing where I am all the time even if a plane is about to crash into me.

Fortunately I have a plan which I will share with you in how to get around this system should you ever visit New York or DC – let’s face it they’ll probably bring the system over to the UK next so listen up. Get yourself a worldsim card for your phone. Whenever you go travelling, not only will the authorities not have a record of the number you’re using, but you’ll be able to take advantage of cheaper phone calls as well! How great is that?

Protect your privacy and laugh in the face of danger! I intend to and I don’t care what some analyst says about ‘how much safer we’ll all feel'by letting them track us all the time.
